Wisdom is attained even when your hair has not showed off its sliver lining...

When you go about your daily activities; uni, work, home etc. you don't realise that sometimes some one out there needs your help or comfort.

I was at youth group a few weeks ago when a friend of mine was sharing about a problem she was facing. During the time she was speaking, something within stirred up and wanted to speak and comfort her. I didn't know exactly what to say but I knew there was something to be said that could help her.

By the time she finsished talking, that stirring feeling in my stomach just tightened. I spoke. I gave her my view and my opinion as to how she should handle the situation/problem. When I finished I felt good speaking it out.

I prayed for her at the end and continued to pray for her during the week. A few days later she send a text message saying that she had received good news in regards to her problem. Her problem was pretty twisted. It was only through the hands of God that could open the way.

Then the following week as I was on the bus I was listening to my ipod. There was a song that resonated within me. I played it twice and intently listened into the lyrics. Then I was reminded of my friend that was in that troubled situation. I texted her and told her to listened to that song. And to my surprise, she texted back saying that at the time I sent the text message she was listening to that exact song.

That was wisdom from God. At the perfect time he revealed His strength and love for someone in need.

His timing could never be more perfect.

So when you hear a voice within you to pray or speak to someone, just speak. Whether you believe that it is God or some other force telling you to do so, just do it. Your helping someone. Your bringing a smile to their face.

Trust in it and do it!
